A personal license is an option for private individuals who purchase a license with their own funds and solely for their own use. Personal licenses are not to be purchased, refunded or in any way financed by companies.
A commercial license is the standard licensing option for organizations and business entities. Licenses are purchased by the company and can be used by any single person within this organization.
We provide several OEM's in the market with custom versions of our software. The specifications/differences are as follows:
1. OEM licenses are commercial licenses
2. Only contain OEM specific machines.
3. In some cases are limited in functionality depending on the OEM's requirements
4. Include customer support from the OEM instead of Formware
We currently don't have an educational license. Please contact us if you require multiple licenses for your institute so we can make you an customized offer.
You can download the software by filling out the evaluation form. After the purchase you are emailed the license code which you can enter. With your account created at purchase you can also download the software by login in.
Formware 3D works on Windows 7, 8 or 10. It also requires a reasonable graphics card with OpenGL 3.3 or higher.

Formware is a .NET program. This compiles automatically to the system it's being used on. If you run a 64bit system the program will be in 64bit. The result is you can use more memory for computations. It will typically not speed up the operations much all else things equal.
No. Formware 3D Is a windows only program. Using it in a virtual environment (Parallels or VMWare) does not work due to restrictions on the graphics in latest Mac OSX environments.
Currently Formware 3D is available in english, german, spanish, chinese (simplified), dutch, french, korean, russian, chinese (traditional), turkish and japanese. We are working on other translations. If you would like to contribute please notify us.
No currently formware 3D doesn't include a printer controller. We have released a free print controller program to control arduino/gcode based printers. Please see the menu above.
